We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team. This role will oversee a roster of accounts serving as the liaison between the agency and the client. The account manager will build and grow positive relationships with clients enabling Senior Leadership to ensure teams and projects run smoothly. Account Managers will provide background and guidance on clients’ needs for the Operations, Creative, and Research & Strategy Departments. Although the agency is remote, the Account Manager role will be required to travel to client meetings, presentations, and agency conferences.
Create and maintain strong relationships with clients as the primary point of contact
Establish account planning methodologies based on sector
Analyze clients project performance across all channels
Present insights and provide recommendations to internal and external teams
Ingest all client briefs to develop SOWs with agency and client goals in mind
Develop initiatives to increase client satisfaction and retention
Deliver reports to C-suite on account performance including suggestions for growth and flagging potential pain points
Advise Project management based on knowledge of client ecosystems and agency goals
Assist the Chief Operating Officer in negotiating budgets with clients to ensure maximum profitability
Assist Chief Operating Officer in building account team and processes between all departments
Report key financials to C-Suite
Collaborate with C-Suite to develop and execute revenue strategies as well as client retention strategies
Travel to in-person interviews, work sessions, client meetings, and conferences.
Provide in-depth reports and presentations on industry trends to all internal and external stakeholders
Ensure accounts are profitable and growing by increasing revenue through production innovation
A polished, professional, and personable demeanor is required.
The ability to thrive in on-camera and in-person communication with clients and C-Suite executives is required.
Must be able to juggle multiple clients, delegate and manage assignments, and keep account plans on track.
Managed budgets from inception to completion (Minimum 2 million dollar budgets)
Proven success in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve established objectives
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful
3 years minimum experience in Account Management or similar role
Bachelors in Marketing or similar experience, higher education appreciated
Experience in Healthcare, Non-profit, & Civic Sector
This job requires 3 years minimum experience in the similar role. Applicants must possess a Bachelors in Marketing or similar experience. Only applicants in the NY/NJ/PA area will be considered.
Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 Depending upon experience.
