South Central Power Company, Ohio’s largest electric cooperative, is seeking an energetic and creative, data-driven sales individual to fill the position of BroadbandSales and Marketing Director. This position would report to the VP of Engineering and Broadband at the headquarters office located in Lancaster, Ohio.
This role will help us develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns, strategies and materials related to South Central Power broadband and home security services.
Key responsibilities of the position include developing strategies to build brand recognition and awareness. Inform and educate current and potential members/subscribers. Proactively research member/subscriber base to reach the company’s goals and objectives.
What the job requires…
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or another related field.
Excellent organizational and follow-through skills. Highly self-motivated, driven, and detail oriented. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain collaborative internal and external relationships.
Experience in sales and marketing principles, strategies, and best practices. Strong background in social media management and website design platforms. Proficiency with technologies and best practices for web design, web production, and creative design across multiple platforms.
Ability to work and travel on a flexible schedule.

South Central Power Company is a member-owned electric cooperative serving more than 120,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in 24 Ohio counties.
