Marketing and Communications Associate

We are looking for a self-starter with exceptional writing and organizational skills to join our team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create content, provide copy writing for, and oversee design, proofing, and distribution of Advancement and Admissions communications, e.g. Print and Digital publication as well as website pages and special events.
• Oversee editing, proofing, sending (and often writing) of School communications
• Manage the School’s social media accounts.
• Assist with Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge management
• Provide faculty training on messaging and communications best practices
• Create and manage communications timeline
• Serve as the School’s point person/project manager for the new website. Once launched, maintain data and information on the School website accurate, and current.
• Promote the mission of the School
• Assist with crisis communications, as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  
• A desire to work with preschool to ninth grade day and junior boarding students, and a deep empathy for their experience
  
• Experience with (or willingness to learn) Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, and/or Facts Management, as well as graphic design programs, such as Canvas.
• Exceptional written-and-oral-communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Cultural competence and diplomacy, a warm and empathetic demeanor, a collaborative and flexible nature.
