Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Under general direction of the Course Reader Solutions Manager, oversees and performs duties related to the creation and sale of custom printed items, including: supply inventory ordering and management, item production, website design and maintenance and marketing of same, and operational management. Verifies design adherence to UCLA rules and standards. Assists with month-end reconciliation; budget preparation and monitoring; and in developing departmental strategic initiatives. Seeks out, develops, and maintains positive relationships with faculty, staff, students, student organizations, and vendors; ensures timeliness and accuracy in all areas, and maintains accurate and consistent system records. Monitors Hires, schedules, trains, evaluates and counsels staff in all activities. Assists in other areas of the Division and performs special assignments. Hours include evenings/weekends.

Qualifications:

Requires 5+ years related management experience in a high-volume environment, and a strong understanding of Adobe Creative platform; design experience preferred. Experience must demonstrate: general knowledge of management practices; effective personnel management, organization and development practices; effective handling of a variety of priorities and timelines; effective interface with diverse individuals/groups; a broad range of experience in financial planning and expense control with attention to detail and accuracy in performing work. Requires excellent planning and organizational skills plus PC word processing/spreadsheet/database proficiency. BA/BS required.
