Paperwork is an exciting VC-backed seed-stage company in the financial wellness space. We are looking for our first marketing hire to help us establish a firm marketing foundation with an emphasis on customer acquisition. In this role you will work with our executive team to help develop and oversee our marketing strategy for D2C customer acquisition, as well as B2B2C initiatives. In this role you will be working with a top team of outside marketing professionals and resources to cost effectively strategize and execute campaigns with measurable results that can be evaluated for ongoing optimization. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter exhibiting professionalism and exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills. Who you are
3-5 years experience marketing a consumer-facing technology solution, with a solid track record of successful customer acquisition and growth.
Experience with a mobile-first app is essential. Fintech experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience distilling complex solutions into compelling narratives
Ability to effectively manage external resources, while collaborating with internal teams
Track record of working as an individual contributor where needed
Self-directed and entrepreneurial
Able to organize and track multiple projects simultaneously, and pivot with shifts in priorities and initiatives
Work with the CEO and Executive Team to establish and enhance Paperwork’s positioning in the market
Develop customer acquisition and user-engagement strategies in line with company objectives
Ideate and create compelling narratives and materials to attract targeted audiences
Collaborate with the design team on marketing assets and collateral, including conference materials, for targeted audiences
Maintain product positioning, naming and messaging
Manage and oversee freelancers and independent contractors necessary to implement strategy while maintaining budget
Help manage press and other media, as well as thought leadership and conference strategy
Guide and oversee initiatives such as digital media, social, email campaigns, newsletters, webinars
Analyze results and transform insights into successful marketing tactics and communications
Oversee creation of materials for partner / distribution programs (ex: co-branded efforts, sales decks, leaflets, newsletters, emails)
Own reporting to show CAC:LTV, conversion rates and other agreed KPIs, offering actionable insights that improve ROI
