The marketing and communications coordinator supports the marketing manager, under the direction of the director of membership and marketing, in coordinating the execution of association communications, marketing, brand management, social media, and publications.
Weekly e-newsletter – responsible for gathering and coordinating content from Subject Matter Experts, laying out content, and publishing. Coordinator is the owner of the weekly e-newsletter.
Weekly/Monthly e-blasts – responsible for gathering and coordinating content, laying out content, and publishing. Coordinator is the owner of e-blast communications.
Coordinate member lists from association software for distribution of e- communications.
Graphic Design & Video
Responsible for the creative development and content layout of design pieces and graphics for NACUFS, including but not limited to, events, conferences, mobile apps, website, signage, publications, brochures, mailers, posters, advertising, and social media.
Responsible for editing virtual instruction, workshops, conferences, meetings, etc.
Works alongside the director of business development to ensure advertising insertion orders are fulfilled for the e-newsletter and website. Serves as liaison for advertising insertion orders for Campus Dining Today®.
Responsible for providing analytics for advertisers, as needed.
Responsible for developing the creative for NACUFS advertising under the direction of the marketing manager.
Marketing & Brand Management
Work alongside the marketing manager in execution of marketing and communications plans for various programs and services.
Serve as an editor of the website focusing on content updates and utilization of graphics under the direction of the marketing manager.
Coordinate production of marketing materials from quote to delivery as well as serve as the vendor contact.
Run analytics reports and analysis for website, email marketing campaigns, social media, and National Conference (mobile app).
Maintain marketing and communications calendar and Teamwork project management.
Work alongside marketing manager to manage social media marketing.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or similar.
Three to five years’ experience in marketing, graphic design, and communications.
Diverse portfolio of writing and graphic design samples.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong editing, writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
Experience in working with a project management system.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premier.
Knowledge of social media marketing.
Knowledge of email marketing and mobile app management software.
Knowledge of website design, navigation, HTML, and content management systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work with a wide range of people.
