New business development through existing relationships, referrals, and cold calls
Assisting clients and prospects in choosing the right gear for their event/project
Suggest products and prepare presentations/proposals/quotes based on clients/prospects specifications
Build and maintain client relationships
Interact with outside vendors
Attend a local trade show
Provide direction and support to customers
Contribute to sales strategies as a member of the Porters team
Learn the ins and outs of the Promotional Product Industry!
Ideal qualification include:
Very strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to accuracy & detail
Strong ability to build relationships
Self-motivated and results oriented mentality
Branding sensibility and awareness
Proficiency in all general aspects of a personal computer and web browsing
Willingness to work hard and grow
Ability to work independently
*Option to work remotely out of your home office also available.
*Pay is based on a competitive commission structure, and depending on qualifications, a small internship salary may be available.
Although prior experience in promotional products and sales is preferred, it is not required. We will train! Position offers comprehensive training at our office in Griffith, Indiana
